Hypertherm introduces new Powermax30 XP

April 8, 2014 – Hypertherm has announced the launch of the Powermax30 XP,  a new plasma cutting system that delivers high performance in a small portable package. The new system is 50 per cent more powerful than its predecessor, yet maintains the Powermax30’s light weight and small size. It features a two-in-one design for high power cutting on thick metal and detailed cutting on thin metal using FineCut consumables.

its predecessor, yet maintains the Powermax30’s light weight and small
size. It features a two-in-one design for high power cutting on thick
metal and detailed cutting on thin metal using FineCut consumables.

“Like the Powermax125 before it, the new Powermax30 XP is carefully engineered so it delivers more power to the torch than some higher amp competitive systems,” said Erik Brine, product manager for Hypertherm Powermax systems. “In addition, the new Powermax30 XP contains a redesigned Duramax™ torch and consumables that last twice as long as those found on the Powermax30 for a lower overall operating cost.”

The system, like all Powermax systems, is easy to use with simple controls. In addition, it is rugged and reliable with Hypertherm Certified reliability to perform in the most demanding environments. It is available from authorized Hypertherm partners around the world.
