C.R. Laurence has announced that, effective August 1, Vimac Distributions has become an integral part of CR Laurence Co. Vimac, based in Montreal, has a well-respected name in the glass and glass industry, with over 30 years of hardware distribution experience in tools and supplies for glass. Vimac’s operations are now integrated into CRL’s Montreal service center, located at 8200 des Bâtisseurs Street, where the majority of Vimac employees are now located.
“We are very pleased to welcome Vimac employees to our team and we are confident that this will minimize disruption of orders and ensure a smooth transition,” CRL president, Lloyd Talbert, said in a statement. “All Vimac customer accounts have been paired with CRL’s customer database and you will now have access to Vimac products alongside CRL’s broad product line.”
As part of this transition to CRL, all outstanding Vimac invoices will now be issued to customers’ CRL customer accounts. Payments should be directed to CRL’s online portal or at the Montreal service center.
CRL is a leading supplier to the architectural glass and hardware industry in North America. Over the past 50 years the company has provided a full range of products and services to the glass industry, including a full line of door hardware and exit devices, supported by a comprehensive range of product documentation and technical support. In the coming weeks, customers will receive more information about CRL, including catalogs.
