Feb. 28, 2012 – C.R. Laurence has announced that it acquired the assets of Columbia Manufacturing Company on Feb. 15. Columbia will now be operated through a new, wholly owned entity by C.R. Laurence. Lloyd Talbert, president of CRL, said “Columbia, recognized for its extensive line of screen products, is based in Gardena, Calif., and is a well-respected company with over 50 years of experience. In the coming weeks and months we will be making investments and enhancements in the operation to increase capacity, improve the service level, and upgrade quality, design, and product assortment.”
Talbert continues “Columbia’s diverse range of products include patio
screen doors, steel hinged screen doors, wood screen doors, vinyl screen
doors, steel security screen doors plus a full complement of screen
door accessories. Window screen products include roll-formed aluminum
window screen frame, spreader and muntin bars, and Columbia’s adjustable
window screens.”
