Rich Porayko to present glass marketing seminar at GlassBuild America

Aug. 30, 2013 – Organizers of GlassBuild America have announced that Glass Canada freelance writer and glass marketing specialist, Rich Porayko, will be leading a marketing focused seminar at the largest glass and glazing trade event in North America on September 11th in Atlanta.

Rich Porayko, will be leading a marketing focused seminar at the largest glass
and glazing trade event in North America on September 11 in Atlanta.

The seminar, entitled Guerrilla Marketing for the Glass and
Metal Industry, is being touted as an information packed, hour-long
presentation focusing on getting solid results using a system of creative yet
cost-effective promotions, relying on time, energy and imagination.
“The session is fun, fast-paced and broken into easy
takeaways so attendees will literally leave with dozens of easy, cost-effective,
time-tested marketing tips and tricks that have taken me almost twenty years of
studying and trial and error to put together,” says Porayko. “It’s the best

Vancouver, B.C.-based Porayko, whose career in marketing began
19 years ago, with over ten of them in the glass industry, has been a
contributing freelance writer to Glass Canada for the last five years. Porayko has also been heavily active in a
variety of marketing, membership and event roles with Fenestration BC (formally
Glazing Contractors Association of BC). According to Porayko, he is an active
member of the BC Chapter of the American Marketing Association and Toastmasters
International and attends meetings from both organizations a regular basis.
