Fenestration Canada NAFS-08 seminars for Ontario door pre-hangers

August 28, 2013 – Significant changes to the Ontario Building
Code and NAFS-08 are scheduled to be implemented on Jan. 1, 2014. All
companies including window and door fabricators, sellers and
renovators will be affected. 
Fenestration Canada, in collaboration with
major door supplier members, has scheduled a series of information
seminars designed to update door pre-hangers on building code
compliance, testing requirements and provide a general interpretation on
the Ontario Building Code and NAFS-08.

renovators will be affected. 
Fenestration Canada , in collaboration with
major door supplier members, has scheduled a series of information
seminars designed to update door pre-hangers on building code
compliance, testing requirements and provide a general interpretation on
the Ontario Building Code and NAFS-08.

Dates and venues are as follows:

• Thursday Sept. 12: Hilton London Ontario Hotel, London, Ont., Windsor Club Room, 2nd floor
• Thursday Sept. 19: Travelodge Hotel and Conference Centre, Ottawa, Ont., Rotary Room
• Friday Sept. 27: Hotel Indigo Toronto Airport, Toronto, Ont., Windsor Room

Presentations
will start at 10:00 a.m. and wrap up by 3:00 p.m. A working lunch buffet
will be provided. All facilities offer complimentary parking and
wireless internet access. 


Registration fees are $50 for
members and $75 for non-members plus HST. Seating is limited. 
Participants
are asked to register with the Fenestration Canada office indicating
