Nov. 16, 2009, Norcross, Ga. – Kawneer Company has announced that Diana Perreiah has assumed the role of Vice President Business Operations, Kawneer North America.

Nov. 16, 2009, Norcross, Ga. – Kawneer Company has announced that Diana Perreiah has assumed the role of Vice President Business Operations, Kawneer North America.

Perreiah will be responsible for leading operational excellence, capturing productivity gains and delivering exceptional customer service for Kawneer North America.

Perreiah began her career with Alcoa in 1986 in the aluminum can sheet division (RPD) at Warrick Operations in Evansville, IN. While working in RPD, Perreiah held various leadership positions in operations, commercial and information services. In 2000, Perreiah transferred to Pittsburgh to lead the consolidation of Alcoa’s North America information infrastructure services, later joining Alcoa’s Operations Management Consulting (AOMC) Group in 2003. Prior to joining AFE, Diana served as the plant manager for Alcoa’s largest soft alloy extrusion plant located in Cressona, PA. In December 2006, Perreiah moved to Global Hard Alloy Extrusions as the Operations Manager, Lafayette Operations, where she went on to assume responsibility for all extrusion operations in North America including plants located in Phoenix, AZ, Baltimore, MD, and Massena, NY, in addition to Lafayette, IN. These plants are part of Alcoa’s Forging and Extrusion (AFE) business unit, which serves the aerospace, automotive, industrial and specialty tubing markets.

“Diana brings a wealth of Alcoa experience from both her operations and commercial assignments inside of Alcoa’s Forging and Extrusion, the Rigid Packaging Division, Cressona Operations and AOMC.  We are pleased to have her join us as Vice President Business Operations and know that her leadership will continue to propel us toward our goal of efficient and effective customer centric business operations,” said Glen Morrison, President, Kawneer North America.

Perreiah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Computational Science, from Hollins University. In her new role, Perreiah will report directly to Glen Morrison and will be based out of Kawneer’s Norcross, Ga. headquarters.
