Glasslam files federal lawsuit against Edgetech IG

March 25, 2011 – Nebula Glass International, a division of Glasslam, has filed a lawsuit against Edgetech IG in the United States District Court Southern District of Florida alleging violations of the Sherman Antitrust Act, the Clayton Antitrust Act, Florida anti-trust statutory provisions, defamation, violation of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act and breach of contract. Steve Howes, Glasslam's CEO, said "Hopefully this will make these people realize that, in the long run, they cannot stop competitive products from reaching the market." The Insulating Glass Manufacturers Association and Insulating Glass Manufacturer's Association of Canada were named in the suit. The IGMA said it had no comment at this time.
