used exclusively with CRL’s New EZ-Adjust Header System.
June 25, 2009 – CR Laurence Inc., (CRL), is introducing Prima and Senior Prima Top Mount Hinges to be used exclusively with CRL’s New EZ-Adjust Header System.
“An installer will immediately recognize the value of these new additions to our line,” says Brad Murphy, CRL product manager. “The new EZ-Adjust Header System provides a safe and beautiful frameless shower installation by securing and providing additional support to enclosures that do not reach the ceiling.
Acting as a ‘crown’ over the top of the glass, the EZ-Adjust Shower Door Header Kit is bracketed to each wall. Used with our Prima and Senior Prima Hinges, the EZ-Adjust System allows adjustability after installation because the hinges can be moved horizontally, left and right, as desired. Also, no drilling through the header is required for an adaptor block, due to a built-in adaptation with these hinges.”
The Prima Series is designed for use with 5/16 to 3/8 inch (8 to 10 mm) tempered safety glass, while the Senior Prima Series is designed for half inch (12 mm) glass. Both Hinge Series are self-centering with four springs for maximum retention strength. Constructed of heavy 6063-T5 aluminum alloy, CRL’s EZ-Adjust Header Kits are stocked in up to eight popular finishes.
A choice of 98 and 144 inch (2.49 and 3.66 m) stock lengths allow the user to cut as desired. A Snap-in Filler Insert for the door pocket, along with Wall Mounting Brackets and Clear Glazing Vinyl round out the kit.
