June 17, 2014 – Linde Canada Limited has introduced a line of Linde-branded arc equipment to the Canadian market. The new line includes MIG, TIG and Multi-Process machines.

The new Linde branded machines, which are targeted for light industrial, maintenance and do-it-yourself markets, are:
Linde MIG 180 machine, an inverter-based dual voltage machine that delivers smooth arc characteristics for high quality welds. This machine is complete with two types of wire feed rollers: V-groove for use with solid carbon manganese and stainless steel and U-groove for use with soft wire such as aluminium.
Linde TIG 185 AC/DC machine, an inverter-based machine with added shielded metal arc welding(SMAW) capability. Ideal for sheet metals, stainless steel and aluminium welding.
Linde Multiprocess 175, a single-phase machine for the all-round welder. With its MIG, TIG and Stick capabilities, the Linde Multiprocess 175 is simple to set up, easy to use and ideal for the less-experienced welder.
All three units are now available at all 73 Linde Canada retail stores located throughout Canada.
"Using these welding machines with Linde's proprietary MISON® shielding gases increases their effectiveness and safety." Clune said. "MISON shielding gases reduce the amount of ozone formed during the welding process, while improving the stability of the arc, increasing weld strength and lowering clean up time."
