The Viracon Product Guide is the ultimate technical resource for architects and glazing contractors. It is a comprehensive tool that provides an overview of Viracon’s fabrication capabilities and the architectural glass options available along with technical information to support the selection and specification of Viracon products. This rich media guide features tap-to-zoom photography with Google map pins and project details, videos, and links to viracon.com to access additional product and services resources.
“The app is a dynamic solution that meets the demand for mobile access, interactivity, as well as a ‘green’ alternative to the printed version of our product guide. It will improve the customer experience by providing the most up-to-date information at their fingertips,” states Sara Theis, a product manager with Viracon. She adds, “Architects have asked us to reduce the amount of printed material being sent to them, as their firms move from print libraries to virtual libraries. Our glazing customers are often traveling between offices and job sites, so the ability to access technical product information while they are on the go is beneficial and improves their efficiency.”
To download the app go to the Apple Store or Google Play and search for Viracon Product Guide. While in the Apple Store users will also find a second app offered by Viracon, ViraconGlass. This app is a visualization tool. It allows users to select from the various coatings and substrates that Viracon offers, and to view the respective transmitted and reflective glass color on a variety of building types. The models can then be viewed under different lighting conditions from both interior and exterior perspectives and can be compared to one another. The ViraconGlass app is compatible with Apple tablets.
