EMC offers thousands to support new hires

November 1, 2022  By The Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium

The Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium is offering up to $5,000 to employers for new hires through the WILWorks Graduate program. The program is available for eligible employers who hire new eligible youth between the ages of 15 to 29.

The program is available for both recent-graduates and non-recent graduates who fit ENC’s criteria. The application deadline is Nov. 25, 2022. ENC designed the program to help manufacturing sector employers build the workforce of the future by attracting top young talent, expanding their skills and guiding them on their paths to employment. The program offers a financial incentive of up to $5,000 to employers onboarding eligible youth, aged 15 to 29, and industry leading EMC training for participants to support their transition into the workplace.

Designed as an online pre-orientation course that complements your existing onboarding procedures, the program trains eligible new hires to be strong communicators and team players primed for success to increase productivity.
