Feb. 14, 2012 – Ply Gem, a leading manufacturer of exterior building products, has expanded its Canadian product portfolio to include a comprehensive offering of windows, patio doors, entry doors, siding, stone veneer, fence and rail. Ply Gem previously offered windows, patio doors, entry doors, fence and rail in western Canada.
The 2012 portfolio expansion includes new Canadian Construction Materials Centre-approved vinyl siding products, ICC-ES-compliant stone and brick veneer, and additional window lines that will be available to the eastern Canadian market. Products are available under the Ply Gem brand for windows, patio doors and entry doors, Variform by Ply Gem brand for siding, Ply Gem Stone brand for manufactured stone and brick veneer, and Kroy by Ply Gem brand for fence and rail. Each of these product categories – windows, doors, siding, stone veneer, fence and rail – can be combined to create The Designed Exterior by Ply Gem, a complete exterior home solution.

In western Canada, new construction and replacement window and patio door product lines will continue to be supplied by Ply Gem through its Calgary-based Canadian manufacturing and distribution division. The western product offering includes vinyl windows and patio doors, wood and aluminum-clad wood windows and doors, and hybrid windows and patio doors made with a vinyl interior and either extruded aluminum or extruded vinyl exterior. In addition to windows and patio doors, western Canadian customers will also have access to fiberglass and insulated steel panel entry doors.
New for 2012, window and patio door products will be available for the eastern Canadian new construction and replacement window markets. Ply Gem Windows offers a comprehensive line of vinyl and aluminum- clad wood windows and patio doors to eastern Canada. Both eastern and western window products provide customers with a good, better, best offering to suit any budget and style.
