Glaston ProL – Simple lamination

October 7, 2015  By Glaston

Glaston ProL is a patented flat laminating line designed to meet the growing demand for complex laminated glass that fulfills the highest quality standards required today.

Compared with traditional infrared-based heating methods, the unique convection solution of Glaston ProL makes it possible to turn any glass type, from clear to half-printed or coated glass, into high-performance laminated products with superb quality. The solution does not differentiate between the glass types or production modes. Only one parameter is needed to control the entire process. The full convection technology is based on an optimized heat spread, which ensures the proper heat balance and guarantees the most efficient heat transfer for lamination. It also provides a high process speed, allowing increased throughput, along with an excellent pre-laminate quality with proper edge sealing. Glaston ProL takes the growing range of laminated glass applications into account, providing the freedom to choose from a variety of operational modes to customize glass sizes and shapes, widths and colors, including low-E glass. Operating the ProL line is easy and efficient. The state-of-the-art convection technology offers a great user experience in heating control. Sheet-by-sheet operation is possible for large sized laminates. Continuous mode operation is available for small and medium sized glass.
