May 11, 2015  By IGMA

91835a42-7ecb-45e9-b1e7-dbb8d6155af7IGMA (the Insulating Glass Manufacturer’s Alliance) is pleased to announce our Fall Technical Conference, to be held in beautiful downtown Denver, Colorado, at the luxurious and historic Brown Palace Hotel October 5th through 8th.

For more than a century, this elegant hotel has stood as an anchor to the bustling financial and cultural district, playing host to presidents (Roosevelt to Reagan), prime ministers, The Beatles and now IGMA!

In addition to the technical committees, safety council and topical presentations, we will be visiting the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) campus for a tour.  This state of the art facility has a mission focus on Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Systems Integration.   At the top of our list is the Differential Thermal Cycling Unit, (or “Big Hammer” as we affectionately call it) which was designed by NREL to rapidly cycle IG and VIG units.  This technology has been discussed at past IGMA Emerging Technology & Innovation gatherings and you can have an opportunity to see it in person.

IGMA attendees (both new and seasoned) partake in shaping technological advancement and networking fun at our events and Denver will be no exception.   IGMA President Mark Hutchinson (Intigral) states, “The IGMA conferences provides an opportunity to stay abreast of and participate in the current technical topics that guide our industry. Armed with this information, members can then help their respective organizations in making key decisions that affect not only current business trends but also prepare for future strategies.”

IGMA is a dynamic group of glass industry professionals who voluntarily come together to solve common industry problems, meet common needs and accomplish goals relative to Insulating Glass in the Global Fenestration Industry.  Those that attend our events are literally the who’s who of our trade.

The success of IGMA events is due in great part to the contributions of our sponsors.  We encourage potential sponsors to sign up early as we typically sell out of these opportunities quickly. We wish to thank our Gold Sponsors (Cardinal IG, Guardian Industries Corp. and PPG), our Silver Sponsors (Fenzi North America, Intigral and Quanex Building Products) and our Bronze Sponsors (Dow Corning and Royal Adhesives & Sealants) for their generous contributions to the Ft. Lauderdale Conference this past February.  If your company would like to join our distinguished list of sponsors, please contact IGMA’s Executive Director, Margaret Webb, for more information, or visit us online at www.igmaonline.org.

Whether you are a new to the industry or a veteran, we offer the opportunity to learn something new and be part of a group at the forefront of all things IG.  Registration for this event is open now, so sign up on our website, mark your calendars and make travel arrangement for the IGMA conference in Denver!
