As codes and standards at every level of jurisdiction tighten, it is more important than ever to understand the present state of play in energy efficiency and where it is likely to go in the future. Every day, Louis Fortin helps building engineers and glazing contractors hit the numbers they need when testing high performance facade designs. He’s seen it all and brings his knowledge and insight to you in this presentation.
Louis Fortin is an engineer and senior consultant in the field of the building envelope. Working for the past 35 years in the field of curtain walls and fenestration on the manufacturing or consulting side, Louis is a Project Director at UL based in Quebec. His main areas of expertise are consulting, commissioning and investigating performance problems relating to curtain walls, windows and glazing.
