Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope was awarded "Best In Class" by Architectural Record through the 2013 Excellence in Advertising Awards
program. This recognition was given for outstanding work on the BIM IQ spread
advertisement created by Brian J. Ganton and
Associates.

BIM IQ is a
computer-aided, three-dimensional interactive design and energy application for
the architectural and construction industry. BIM IQ allows architects to make a
change to the architectural glass selection
or mullion design on any given project and then see those changes from any

Smart advertising.

"BIM IQ can
help us develop building envelopes designed to accept or reject free energy
provided by the external ecosystem, and, as a result, significantly reduce the
cost of power required to achieve a comfortable, internal environment,"
said Ted
Hathaway, chief executive, Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope. "As
showcased in our advertisement, this powerful design tool takes building
information modeling to a new level."

"We are
delighted to receive this prestigious award from McGraw-Hill that celebrates
the effectiveness of our advertising. This award is additional confirmation
that our message is resonating with architects," said Susan Trimble,
vice-president marketing and communications, Oldcastle
BuildingEnvelope. "We consider it a great honor to receive this Best In
Class award from the jury of distinguished architects for Architectural Record's awards
program."
