New director appointed for Dow Corning Construction Industry

jim_hayes_smallMar. 23, 2010 – Jim Hayes has been named commercial director for the Dow Corning Construction Industry, Americas region, and will be responsible for advancing several of the company’s construction initiatives focused on developing innovative energy efficiency and green building solutions. Previously, Hayes led several energy management programs within Dow Corning’s Business & Technology Incubator.

Mar. 23, 2010 – Jim Hayes has been named commercial director for the Dow Corning Construction Industry, Americas region, and will be responsible for advancing several of the company’s construction initiatives focused on developing innovative energy efficiency and green building solutions. Previously, Hayes led several energy management programs within Dow Corning’s Business & Technology Incubator.
 
“Jim’s skills, experience and background in lighting and energy systems provides us with the technical expertise and knowledge needed to help keep our industry moving forward,” said Ron Fillmore, vice president, Construction Industry, Dow Corning.  “His contributions will be invaluable in keeping us at the forefront of new innovations that will continue to shape the future direction of the construction industry.”

The future of green buildings and the energy efficiencies they will provide have virtually unlimited potential,” said Hayes. “Dow Corning is constantly looking for ways to create innovative solutions for the industry and our partners. Hayes received a Mechanical Engineering degree from Michigan Technological University and a Masters in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
