NACC to premiere movie

The Drexel Construction Management program at Drexel University has produced a 34-minute movie titled The Quest for Quality, detailing the North American Contractor Certification program and its impact on members and prominent glazing projects. The movie will be premiered at a live online event on Feb. 18 at 6:00 EST. The premiere is open to all interested parties.

The Drexel Construction Management Program will host the premier of the  documentary focusing on the glazing industry and the North American Contractor Certification Program (NACC).  The video will feature NACC-certified contractors and projects they have completed including the Comcast Tower project which had a significant portion of the  glazing scope completed by NACC-certified contractors and AGMCC board member, Terry Webb, and his team at  Eureka Metal and Glass.  There will also be interviews with several NACC-certified glazing contractors from the Philadelphia region discussing various aspect of quality and certification. There were significant contributions of footage from Guardian Glass at one of their float facilities which was arranged and coordinated by Architectural Glass and Metal Certification Council board member, Raymond Roy. The video was a collaboration between Drexel and the Architectural Glass Institute (AGI) and the second in a series of documentaries developed to educate students about the influence of construction on the built environment and how the work we do shapes communities. AGMCC marketing committee chairperson, Stephanie Staub, provided significant coordination and input with Drexel to bring this project to life.
