garibaldigdJune 19. 2013 – The results are in and the third Garibaldi Glass Day 2013 on May 3 was another great success. Over 250 people made a trip to Garibaldi Glass
in Burnaby, B.C., to take in its expanded supplier tradeshow. Once
again, the seminars were a great success thanks to Azon, Dow Corning,
Guardian and Pilkington. Garibaldi consolidated the entire event into
its second floor space and it worked well.

People enjoyed both the office and plant tours and got a look at the new 98-by-168-inch heat soak furnace. The highlight of the day may have been the visit from the re-elected premier of B.C., Christy Clark, during her final days of campaigning prior to the May 14 provincial election. Let's not forget the food and entertainment later in the day and into the evening.

B.C. premier Christy Clark visited Garibaldi Glass Day during her May campaign. It must have worked: her Liberals won a healthy majority in the subsequent election.

Garibaldi thanks all its suppliers that support this event every year, and its customers that take time out of their day every year to attend. This year, the event drew customers from as far away as Toronto, California, and Hawaii.

Next year's Garibaldi Glass Day is scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2014.
