May 13, 2020  By FGIA

The Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA) will host a webinar about profitability and value as COVID-19 persists. “Financial Management and Value Preservation in a COVID Economy” will be led by Michael Collins, partner and managing director of Building Industry Advisors, LLC on Tues., May 19 at 3 p.m. Eastern. This webinar is complimentary and open to the public.

“You’ve worked hard to identify, hire and retain a great team and to offer compelling products in a competitive market only to have the COVID-19 pandemic threaten your profitability and the value of your company,” said Collins. “This session will cover specific financial steps and other direction that can be taken in order to navigate the current crisis and emerge on the other side with a business that has retained its value.”

Specifically, Collins will discuss:
* General economic backdrop of the pandemic
* Safeguarding near-term profitability
* Reducing the amount of working capital tied up on a business
* Assessing the value of a business in a post-COVID environment
