August 25, 2016  By GANA

Aug. 25, 2016 – The Glass Association of North America has announced that Bill Yanek will leave GANA to pursue a new opportunity as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PSRM).

“Deciding to leave GANA was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.  Serving as the Executive Vice President for the Voice of the Glazing Industry was an immense honor,” shares Yanek.  “My sincere thanks to the GANA Team in Topeka and Texas and to GANA Boards past and present who made representing the greatest material in the world professionally rewarding.”

Since 2007, Yanek has served as Executive Vice President (EVP) of GANA, where he directed all business operations, including membership growth, marketing, staffing, budgeting and financial management. He has served as the spokesperson representing GANA to the industry, like-minded associations and to stakeholders across the country and abroad.

“Under the leadership of Bill Yanek and with the support of our outstanding volunteers, GANA has weathered many changes, including the Great Recession, ” explains Stanley Yee, Dow Corning Corp and GANA President. “As GANA transitions into its next leader, I am confident that great things are in store for the association and industry. We appreciate Bill’s leadership over the years and wish him the best on his future endeavors.”
