Nov. 19, 2015 – Glass Canada magazine will launch its educational Winter Webinar series Dec. 14, 2pm EST with a presentation by Stephane Hoffman of Morrison Hershfield titled “Energy Code Implications for Spandrel Design: Quantifying and mitigating the effects of thermal bridging.” Online registration for this free presentation is OPEN NOW. The webinar is the first in a series of three that will take place in December, January and February.

Hoffman’s webinar will discuss the impact of the latest thermal performance requirements for opaque wall assemblies on traditional spandrel panel construction. He will present examples of 3D thermal modeling and show how this data supports new approaches to spandrel design. Implications for the industry of increasing trends toward measured energy performance will also be discussed. A moderated question-and-answer session will follow Hoffman’s presentation.

The webinar will be accessible anywhere in the world through all major Internet browsers and a link to the archived presentation will be emailed to all registrants afterwards. Registration is free – Go here to register today
