Aug 5. 2010 – Truseal Technologies will highlight its award-winning Envirosealed Windows™ program at GlassBuild America 2010, Sept. 14-16 in Las Vegas, Nev. Truseal’s booth (#1229) will showcase the latest program developments, including new options for producing high-performance Envirosealed Windows.

The Envirosealed Windows campaign simplifies environmental and energy savings messaging for window manufacturers and dealers by highlighting the thermal efficiency benefits of top performing spacer systems. Program participants can address the growing demand for green products through consumer-ready educational tools such as literature, point-of-sale pieces and a dedicated website. Marketing pieces tout benefits like lower energy consumption and reduced CO2 emissions that are made possible by using Truseal’s Dura Platform flexible spacer systems, including Duralite and Duraseal spacers.

According to the company, the Envirosealed Windows program can help manufacturers choose from a variety of pre-certified component packages that yield windows exceeding current tax credit requirements, as well as future Energy Star standards proposed for 2013. Producers are able to economically create Envirosealed Windows with ratings as high as R-6 (0.17 U-value), which is 50 percent better than Energy Star 2010 criteria.

“Tax credit requirements for energy efficient windows have continued to fluctuate in recent months, making it difficult for consumers, manufacturers and dealers alike to understand which windows qualify,” said Ric Jackson, director of marketing and business development, Truseal Technologies. “These parties can rest assured that Envirosealed Windows will meet those requirements and help homeowners maximize not only their tax savings but also their energy savings.”
