Top Glass moves online for 2020

June 10, 2020  By Patrick Flannery

Top Glass, Canada’s conference for the architectural glass industry, will take place as an online virtual event July 7 starting at 10 a.m. EST. The event will feature three presentations by top industry experts, plus the Young Executives Panel discussion. All presentations will be live and interactive, with opportunities for the audience to submit questions. Registration is free and open to all thanks to the generous support of Alumicor, Commdoor Aluminum and Kuraray.

Top Glass Online replaces the live Top Glass event rescheduled for Sept. 29 due to the pandemic. Organizers made the difficult decision to cancel the live event amid uncertainty as to whether mass gatherings will be allowed by late September. Top Glass is planned to return as a live event in April 2021.

“We’ve been encouraged by the success of other virtual events held during the lockdown,” said Danielle Labrie, show manager. “While nothing replaces getting together face-to-face, there are benefits to the online experience, including convenience and the chance to involve people from all over the country.”
