Jescraft’s new mobile bar cradle cart is designed to  move heavy loads of pipe, bars, angles or tubes safely in and around the shop or jobsite. Capable of carrying or storing up to 4,000 pounds of material, the cart is made of heavy-duty, all-welded steel and features a large, open C-channel cradle that facilitates loading or unloading with a forklift or overhead crane. The mobile bar cradle cart’s roller-bearing wheels and casters are positioned in a diamond pattern, allowing it to turn and spin on its own radius for easy maneuvering. has introduced a patent-pending, removable, second ledge system that enables glaziers to transport glass on the upper portion of a glass rack when the bottom ledge directly beneath is already occupied. The system expands the usable surface area of the rack so glaziers can transport more glass per trip and protect smaller or delicate glass by positioning it higher on the rack, further away from the road surface.
Radio frequency identification technology has existed for years
The new Tweco WeldSkill auto-darkening welding helmet features four sensors for enhanced performance at an affordable price. It can be used in both weld mode and grind mode and will darken when TIG welding even at five amps. The helmet has a large viewing area of 3.86 by 1.69 inches, weighs 16 ounces, and uses solar power to reduce the need to change batteries.
The new Patternscan offers a 100 per cent-optical, in-line inspection of solar glass. Patternscan-Ribbon inspects uncut pattern glass, Patternscan-Sheet performs inspection of pattern glass sheets. Both systems apply the innovative multi-mode and multi-view lighting technologies developed by Isra Vision. Multi-View indicates a variety of possible positions of lights on the camera bank. Multi-Mode is the term for different lighting modes. Combined, these technologies enable recognition and differentiation of all defects in the glass, on the glass and along the glass edges, as well as in the glass coating.
C.R. Laurence has introduced CE versions of two of its most popular glass edging/grinding machines, the  EU11 CE Single Spindle Glass Edger and the  3300 RP Wet Belt Sander Edger/Grinder. Both machines are made in Cicero, Ill. and are based on solid, cornerstone machines that CRL Glass Machinery (formerly Sommer & Maca) has made for over 80 years.
