dave_walshMay 15, 2013 – Often seen as the commodity sector, hardware manufacturers have had to work particularly hard to stand out from the competition in the current climate. Providing a quality product with excellent service should be a given, but manufacturers who want to succeed, need to go above and beyond to truly give their customers the support they need. Providing a quality product with excellent service should be a given, but
manufacturers who want to succeed, need to go above and beyond to truly give
their customers the support they need. Following its acquisition by global
security and locking solutions provider Assa Abloy, the Securistyle team is
even better placed to do just this.

There have been a
few changes to the management team at Securistyle
since the acquisition, but as one of the reasons for Securistyle’s purchase was
its expertise, the team has been promoted from within. The current senior
management team has almost 100 years of hardware industry experience between
them, including sales and marketing director Dave Walsh, Andy Large as manufacturing
director and Grant Stratford as technical
director. This strong base of experience is vital to customers who want to know
they are in safe hands with people that understand their products, businesses
and the industry standards that govern them.

“One thing that Securistyle customers can rest
assured hasn’t changed is our strong ethos of listening to what the customer
wants,” says Walsh. “Feedback is encouraged on the things we have done well and
the things we could have done better, as well as thoughts on the features and
benefits they would like to see in the next generation suite of products.
Perhaps more uniquely we then take that feedback on board and it can genuinely
affect the outcome of our products and services.”
