Richelieu took home IIDEX awards in three product categories — lighting,
windows and doors and computer support furniture. The IIDEX Canada
Innovation Awards were established in 1984 to celebrate the latest and
most innovative in interior architecture product design. The Innovation
Awards recognize the most inventive and well-designed products exhibited
at the IIDEX and are judged by representatives from the design, media
and business communities.

In the window and door category, Richelieu’s Aperto sliding door system earned Bronze. Aperto is an ingenious cabinet sliding door system that maximizes room space. The system enables multiple sliding doors to stack up and be concealed behind one hinged door, allowing for access to the entire storage unit when fully opened.

Richelieu also brought home Bronze for its articulated-arm computer keyboard tray, whose ergonomic features significantly increase the comfort of a workstation.
