industry. His career began at PPG, where he eventually served as director of sales for its Montreal distribution center. From
1990 to 2008, Ouellette enjoyed stints at Glaverbec, AFG/AGC Glass and
Bronco Industries. He won five major sales awards with AFG/AGC,
including the top North American Salesperson in 2006.

In 2008, Ouellette started Technical Glass Inc., a provider of
hard-to-find or complicated glass items for the contract glazing
industry. Now, the company includes Viracon products in its roster.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Jacques to the Viracon team,” says Garret
Henson, vice-president of sales for Viracon. “His strong relationships
with architects and glazing contractors in western Canada will allow us
to effectively promote Viracon in the region. The success he’s had with Technical Glass Inc. speaks to the success Viracon will enjoy from
his expertise.”

“I’m honored to have Technical Glass Inc. represent Viracon,” says
Ouellette. “It’s a positive, dynamic organization, and I very much enjoy
the company culture. This opportunity allows me to deal directly with
architects, and I’m looking forward to working with all kinds of
building influencers from the design stage of a project all the way to
its completion.”

TGI Technical Glass Inc. is based in Surrey, B.C.
