Ontario College of Trades calls for consultation
The Ontario College of Trades, which includes the Architectural Glass and Metal Technician trade board, has issued the following call for consultation on upcoming regulatory changes to the classes of membership for the OCOT, and the requirements for obtaining and maintaining registration with OCOT, and the terms, conditions and limitations on statements of membership and certificates issued by OCOT to members.

Falling balcony glass
Shattering balcony glass has prompted some downtown Toronto condo owners to launch class-action suits against developers, contractors and others. The proposed actions in Ontario Superior Court allege negligence in the construction of two condo developments in which glass crashed to the streets below. As a result, the balconies were sealed months ago and residents denied access to them.

Feds help Agnora
