July 15, 2008 - Oldcastle Glass has reached an agreement to sell its translucent wall and skylight business to Major Industries, a supplier to the translucent daylighting industry.
Stadia Industries’ recent design for a load bearing viewport has been integrated into the floor of one of the redesigned elevators at Toronto’s CN Tower. AFG Industries changed its name to AGC Flat Glass North America in September. Asahi Glass Company, AFG’s parent company since 1992, is unifying the group brand globally under the name AGC. The name change coincides with the 100th anniversary of Asahi and will impact all Asahi companies including automotive and flat glass.
