May 27, 2015 - The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is set to release a bulleting that will recommend that bid calling authorities require the listing of major trades, critical subcontractors and subcontractors with a significant value to the contract price in bids. This is a positive and necessary change that increases transparency and accountability in Canada's construction industry while creating greater stability in the work environment for trade contractors. The National Trade Contractors Coalition of Canada (NTCCC) supports the move and is encouraging CCA to continue its productive and balanced review of standard practices.

April 27, 2015 - It is with extreme sadness that we are informing the IGMA membership and fenestration industry that Tim Harris passed away Thursday, April 23rd as a result of injuries sustained at an industry facility. Tim, an industry veteran of 40 years, was the Technical Service Manager at Quanex IG Systems. He had been with Tremco/Truseal/Quanex for 31 years.
