AGC announces sale of U.S. commercial fabrication division

agc_ff_overviewJan. 5, 2015 – AGC Glass Company North America has announced the sale of the assets of its U.S. Commercial Fabrication business unit to Trulite Glass Solutions. The transaction marks Trulite’s fifth acquisition since April 2011 and second acquisition in the fourth quarter of 2014.

AGC holds a leading position in primary products, and will continue to focus on the core strength of the business in manufacturing glass and innovating new coating technologies. In addition, the company will continue to invest in expanding the capabilities of its Boardman, Ohio, and Quakertown, Pa., residential fabrication plants, which play a key role in supporting AGC’s residential strategy and customers. AGC’s team of architectural representatives will continue to work closely with designers and architects, driving specifications for AGC architectural and interior products in all the regions of North America.
