July 22, 2010 – CRL is introducing the new International Series Hinge for frameless shower door applications, offered in both traditional square cornered style, or with modern beveled edges. The hinges are available in both a wall mount model with full back plate, and a 180-degree glass-to-glass model to cover the majority of popular installation configurations.
Brad Murphy, brand manager of the Shower Door Division at CRL, comments, “We’re very pleased to be offering this very cost-effective line of hinges to the frameless shower door market. We’re clearly in challenging times, and we realize that budgets are tight. This series provides our customers with great value and excellent performance.
Solid brass constructed International Series Hinges will accommodate 5/16" (8 mm), 3/8" (10 mm), and 1/2" (12 mm) thick tempered glass, and are stocked in polished chrome and brushed nickel finishes. They are self-centering when within 10 degrees of closed position and include gaskets, screws, and glass fabrication dimensions.
