July 27, 2009 – Kawneer Company, Inc., announced two new additions to its sales team: Joyce Howard and Christopher Keller. Both Howard and Keller specialize in architectural sales and held positions at Kawneer and its parent company, Alcoa, before transitioning to sales.
Howard has more than 23 years of experience in the glazing industry, having worked for several glazing contractors from Wisconsin and Colorado to most recently, Oklahoma. She began her career at Kawneer in the estimating department in Springdale, Arkansas where she was a primary resource and help desk support for Kawneer KaluCAD estimating software.
During his 14-year career with Alcoa, Keller served in a variety of roles including senior applications engineer, regional account manager and most recently, national account manager. Prior to joining Kawneer, Keller ‘s responsibilities ranged from developing new products for customer-specific applications to regional sales for Alcoa’s extrusion and cold finished customers in the mid-Atlantic territory. He was also responsible for national sales for Alcoa Global Hard Alloy Extrusions.
Duties of his new role in architectural sales include working closely with glazing contractors and architects to identify and meet their needs for specific applications.
