JELD-WEN wins 2010 Signature Award

This year's competition received hundreds of submissions and was judged by an international panel of advertising agencies from Canada, the United States and England.

May 28, 2010 – The judging panel has spoken and JELD-WEN Windows and Doors has been honoured with a 2010 Signature Award in the category of Best Specialty Advertising. This year's competition received hundreds of submissions and was judged by an international panel of advertising agencies from Canada, the United States and England.

The winning entry, dubbed RenoVision cards, is a component of the JELD-WEN "Change is Good" campaign, which encourages consumers to renovate their homes with environmentally friendly fenestration products. Customers use these transparent RenoVision cards with a JELD-WEN product printed on them to see what their new room will look like with a window or door upgrade.

“We’re honoured that a campaign focused on making green renovation choices has taken home an award,” says Sante Cigana, Canadian Vice President of JELD-WEN Windows and Doors. “Consumers can actually see how our products can complement different design tastes and architectural styles, while still helping to save money and the environment.”
