JELD-WEN exec at White House job summit

Dec. 4, 2009 – Ron Saxton, executive VP of JELD-WEN Windows and Doors, attended a White House job summit held yesterday.

Dec. 4, 2009 – Ron Saxton, executive VP of JELD-WEN Windows and Doors, attended a White House job summit held yesterday.

The purpose of the summit was to discuss effects of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The Act distributed $787 million as an economic stimulus.

Founded in 1960, JELD-WEN Windows and Doors has more than 150 divisions and 20,000 employees worldwide. JELD-WEN acquired the first of its Canadian operations in 1996. Today the company's Canadian arm has four manufacturing centres,  six distribution centres, and five design centres.
