Henson VP sales at Viracon

garretFeb. 10, 2012 – Viracon, the nation’s leading single-source architectural glass fabricator, is pleased to announce that Garret Henson has been promoted to vice-president of sales. Henson served as the director of sales for the past five years and will continue to report to Kelly Schuller, president of Viracon.

“I’m humbly accepting this position, and the continued opportunity to
work with some of the greatest sales talent and character in the
industry,” says Henson. “I’m grateful to have been taught this business
from my colleagues at Viracon, and there is still much to learn.”
 
Garret has built his entire professional career with Viracon. He joined
in 1993 as a field sales trainee, and then became a field sales
representative based in Colorado. He regularly advanced through
increasing levels of field sales management responsibility – both
domestically and internationally.
 
“Garret has built great relationships with most of our customers and
many others in our industry, as well as building bridges within
Viracon,” says Schuller. “He understands Viracon very well and has
helped build the best sales and service team in the business. He will
bring a valuable perspective to Viracon's senior leadership team, as he
is now part of the team setting overall company direction.”

Henson holds a bachelor’s of business administration degree in Finance
and Real Estate, a Mini MBA in International Management and is a Six
Sigma Black Belt. He and his family reside in Owatonna, Minn.
