Transatlantic Debate returns for GlassCon 2016

January 26, 2016  By GlassCon

Jan. 26, 2016 – The Transatlantic Debate, one of the inaugural event’s most talked-about panels, is returning for GlassCon Global 2016! Moderated by Nick Beaumont (editor of Intelligent Glass Solutions), the Transatlantic Debate features a panel of industry experts that share insights, expertise and trends in the architectural glass and glazing industry. Two of the key topics covered will be the global glazing market and North America’s place in it.

If the original debate is any indicator, this year’s Transatlantic Debate will be an energetic discussion on standards, products, design aesthetics and more. It will also challenge manufacturers, architects and building owners to leverage value and maximize usage of glass and glazing in construction.

Some of the topics emerging for the 2016 debate include:

  • The implementation gap and how the use of cutting-edge glass in construction can grow simultaneously across the globe.
  • Discussion about the current state (and future of) the industry between international professionals from different segments of the industry.
  • Exploring and understanding the perception of the delay in technology adaptation in the U.S. compared to other world markets.
  • The incredible advancements that are occurring in the U.S. and how they are influencing the global market.

“With this Transatlantic Debate, we want to shine a light on intelligent solutions and systems that bring business and technology together,” moderator Nick Beaumont said. “Attendees will experience thought-provoking discussion among global designers and architects throughout the conference.”
