Overwhelming response to Top Glass

May 23, 2014 – With Top Glass
less than a week away, excitement over
Canada's first ICI glazing show in over 20 years is peaking. Attendee
pre-registrations stand at 360, bringing to 450 the number of glass
construction professionals expected at the event. Registrations from
Quebec, Alberta and Nova Scotia attest to the national character of the
conference, as well as registrations from four American states. Top
Glass takes place May 28 at the International Centre in Mississauga,
Ont.

May 23, 2014 – With Top Glass less than a week away, excitement over
Canada's first ICI glazing show in over 20 years is peaking. Attendee
pre-registrations stand at 360, bringing to 450 the number of glass
construction professionals expected at the event. Registrations from
Quebec, Alberta and Nova Scotia attest to the national character of the
conference, as well as registrations from four American states. Top Glass takes place May 28 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont.

"The response to Top Glass has exceeded our wildest expectations," says Danielle Labrie, Top Glass show manager. "It is clear that there was pent-up demand for an event of this kind in the industry."

Attendees will be able to earn Continuing Education credits at three free technical seminars hosted by top experts. And everyone in the commercial glazing industry will benefit from the keynote address from Katherine Jacobs, research and operation director for the Ontario Construction Secretariat. Jacobs has invaluable information on the intentions of developers and commercial contractors in Toronto's booming construction sector – information no glass business owner can afford to be without.

Between educations sessions, attendees can browse the latest technology on a sold-out show floor featuring over 30 of Canada's top suppliers to the trade. Attendees will be able to meet executives from the Ontario Glass and Metal Association, the Canadian Glass Association and the Insulating Glass Manufacturers Association and learn more about the crucial work these groups are doing.

And the fun and networking does not end with Top Glass. The next day, at nearby Pipers Heath Golf Club in Milton, Ont., everyone is invited to join the OGMA on the links for a day of relaxation and industry recognition. The OGMA has very generously extended its member rates for the tournament to Top Glass attendees, a savings of $50 on a day of golf with lunch, dinner and prizes. But hurry!
