Messe Düsseldorf to promote glasstec 2016 at GlassBuild America

Aug. 6, 2015 – At GlassBuild America 2015, Messe Düsseldorf will promote glasstec 2016, International Trade Fair for Glass Production, Processing and Products, to be held from September 20 – 23, 2016 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. At GlassBuild America booth 2519, glasstec 2016 exhibitor and visitor information will be available as well as information on hotel and travel arrangements.

As the world’s leading trade fair in the glass industry, glasstec covers the full spectrum and entire value chain of all facets of glass as a material. Every two years, glasstec is the international meeting point for more than 1,200 exhibitors from over 50 countries and about 43,000 visitors from around the globe.
 
Exhibit categories at glasstec 2016 will include glass manufacturing and production technology, glass processing and finishing, tools and replacement parts as well as process control technology for glass and glass processing machinery, glass applications in the construction and façade sectors, solar energy, electronic display glass and laser technologies. The wide-ranging ancillary program consisting of the special show Glass Technology Live, the Engineered Transparency Conference, the Solar Meets Glass Conference and the Architecture Congress as well as the Crafts Center, the Façade Center, the Autoglass Arena and the Glass Art exhibition will complement the exhibits.
 
As in the past, U.S. and Canadian companies will have the opportunity to exhibit within the North American Pavilion, organized by Messe Düsseldorf North America and co-sponsored by the National Glass Association (NGA).

After difficult times in large parts of the glass sector, the 2014 staging of glasstec send clear signs of positive market developments. The feedback of the 1,217 exhibitors and 42,700 visitors was extremely positive. Over 96% of the attendees rated their participation as positive and they ranked their visit in terms of achieving their goals at the trade fair just as high. The share of the attendees coming to Düsseldorf from countries other than Germany reached 63% – a figure that continues to be unmatched in the sector internationally.
