Glass Connections adds tour of Canadian Science and Technology Museum

The Canadian Glass Association has added a free tour of the Canadian Science and Technology Museum to its Glass Connections program, Sept. 13 to 14 in Ottawa. The tour takes place on the first afternoon before the evening welcome reception. Pre-registration is required.

Take a behind-the-scenes tour of our nation’s largest science and technology collection at the Canada Science and Technology Museum (CSTM). Among other artifacts, included in the tour will be 19th and 20th century microscopes, a double astrograph telegraph and the Percival collection – Canada’s most comprehensive collection of microscope slides and slide making tools.
 
Tour location:    CSTM warehouse at 2421 Lancaster Road, Ottawa

Tour times:         2:00 pm – 3:00 pm or
                             3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Tour guides:        A museum curator and exhibition interpreter will lead the tour.
