Edgetech offers Gasglass trade-in program
Edgetech has unveiled a trade-in program that makes it easier and more cost-effective for users to upgrade to the enhanced Gasglass Handheld v2.

May 12, 2010 – Edgetech I.G., the exclusive Gasglass distributor, has unveiled a trade-in program that makes it easier and more cost-effective than ever for users to upgrade to the enhanced Gasglass Handheld v2. The program, which will run through August 31, provides a $6,300 trade-in value for older Gasglass models, including 1002 and V-1, that are in working condition.
“The trade-in program is available for all Gasglass users, providing them with the latest gas-fill measurement technology,” said Larry Johnson, executive vice president for Edgetech I.G. “Gasglass Handheld v2’s improved optical filters and updated operating software allows the device to measure with greater accuracy and repeatability. And, because of its user-friendly design and non-invasive methods, the v2 Gasglass detector will help prevent operator error and ensure improved quality in the manufacture of gas-filled IG.”
Gasglass Handheld v2 provides the same non-invasive functionality for measuring gas-fill levels in insulating glass, but with a new and improved sensor for more precise measurements at lower fill levels – ranging up from 50 percent argon fill. With the new portable, user-friendly design, customers can expect optimal freedom of movement for total quality control in the factory or in the field.
“With increasingly stringent IG regulations worldwide, don’t leave your argon and krypton gas-fill levels to chance,” Johnson said. “The trade-in program is a great value manufacturers can’t afford to refuse.”
