Ducana closes Tilbury plant

Jan. 4, 2012 – Employees of a Tilbury, Ont.,-based window and door manufacturer ended 2011 on a sour note with notice they have lost their jobs. Chris George, who has worked for Ducana Windows and Doors as a
sales representative for the past five years said the "official
word came on Saturday afternoon, via e-mail from the owner." The reason given, he said, was poor sales. George, who helped open Ducana's Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont., location, said
