CRL-U.S. breaks ground on facility expansions at corporate headquarters

Feb. 2, 2018 –  C.R. Laurence is making progress on multiple facility expansions at its corporate headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

The new facilities will be located at 2651 45th Street and 2716 E. Vernon Avenue. Construction will be completed early this summer. Together, they will add an additional 120,000 sq. ft. of space to CRL-U.S. Aluminum’s existing 1,000,000+ sq. ft. manufacturing and distribution footprint in Los Angeles.

The new state-of-the-art facilities will allow the company to enhance manufacturing and distribution processes. This will increase production, boost stock inventories, and provide shorter lead times to customers so they can better meet tight project timelines.

CRL-U.S. Aluminum has built an expansive, nationwide network of over 30 Service Centers that are backed by the operations and supply chain initiatives at the Los Angeles manufacturing headquarters. Because of the company’s hub-and-spoke model, these facility expansions will translate to improved support for all North American Service Centers and their customers.
