Oct. 20, 2015 – On October 1st, C.R. Laurence welcomed the Stairbuilders and Manufacturers Association (SMA) for a one-day workshop at its ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturing facilities in Los Angeles, California. The stair industry is seeing an increase in demand for glass and stainless steel railing systems. The central focus of the workshop was to address this development and share knowledge to help push the industry forward.

The SMA provides valuable resources and opportunities to its members that support the growth of the stair industry. As a leading supplier of architectural railing systems, C.R. Laurence was a natural fit to host its West Coast Regional Workshop.

“C.R. Laurence was able to provide the technical knowledge and insight needed to better understand the expanding railing segment in both commercial and residential stair applications,” said David Cooper, SMA Executive Director. “These events provide unilateral benefits for all those involved including members, potential members, and host member companies.”
