Chronoglass invests in digital printing

May 11, 2011 – Nicolas Barazin, president of Chronoglass, a division of Vitre-Art, is proud to offer digital ceramic printing on glass, a technology that allows printing on glass without limitations, from his Montreal plant. This investment will create more than fifteen jobs in the short term, and promises yet more in the long term. Chronoglass is the only company in eastern and central Canada to offer this six-colour digital printing process.

in eastern and central Canada to offer this six-colour digital printing
process.

Digital printing with ceramic inks permanently and unalterably applies
motifs, photographs, text, colours or textures on all types of glass
with resolutions and hue complexities never before achieved. Without
creative limits, this process is the ideal technical tool for
architects, designers and decorators who want to produce creative and
high-tech solution. Institutional, corporate and residential
applications are numerous; curtain wall, doors and windows, frontage,
display windows, signage, partitions, furniture, shower doors and floors.

By offering know-how, high-end technology and diversified products,
Chronoglass assists creators by removing all the creative limitations in
architectural design, save their own imaginations. For example,
Chronoglass is proud to have collaborated with the Menkès Shooner
Dagenais Le Tourneux, architectes / Provencher Roy + associés architects
consortium in the production of the Montreal Casino’s new glass
stairway. Chronoglass’ expertise is also illustrated in the fabrication
of laminated glass, consisting of inserting different materials between
two layers, such as transparent or translucid coloured film, metallic
mesh or even fabric.
