Bodycote becomes ‘Exova’
Bodycote Testing Group, the worldwide testing and
advisory business has been relaunched with a new name, identity and
website.
Bodycote Testing Group, which provides testing and advisory services to the fenestration, aerospace, energy, oil and gas, civil engineering, transportation, pharmaceutical, food and consumer products industries and has more than 130 facilities in 25 countries, was acquired by the global private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier and Rice (CD&R), in October 2008.
The company says its new name Exova and its accompanying contemporary graphics convey the company’s vision of being ‘the number one supplier of choice of testing and advisory services’. The new identity will be implemented through a phased roll out planned to all sites worldwide over the next few months, with the change over being complete by October 2009.
“This is an exciting time for Bodycote Testing Group as it transforms into Exova,” says Grant Rumbles, chief executive officer. “Despite the difficult trading environment, results from the first quarter are trending positively. As well as maintaining the excellent service customers expect, we are also diversifying into new areas and maximizing our combined knowledge to our customers’ advantage. Our new name, identity and website are the starting point for a very promising future.”
