Zana Gordon departs CGA

Feb. 5, 2014 – The board of the Canadian Glass Association has not retained the services of
executive director Zana Gordon following a special meeting on Jan. 28.
The move follows a tumultuous January for the association that saw
Fenestration B.C. leave the national organization. Gordon remains as
executive director of FenBC.

Feb. 5, 2014 – The board of the Canadian Glass Association has not retained the services of executive director Zana Gordon following a special meeting on Jan. 28. The move follows a tumultuous January for the association that saw Fenestration B.C. leave the national organization. Gordon remains as executive director of FenBC.

"The Canadian Glass Association has decided to hire a new executive director and will be going in a new direction," said Jim Brady, CGA president. "I would like to thank our former executive director, Zana Gordon, for her years of service and dedication to the CGA. We wish Zana well in her future endeavors and in her role as executive director for FenBC."

Brady says the CGA hopes to announce Gordon's replacement by the end of February.

"This is quite disappointing," said Gordon. "I have been the executive director of CGA since 2008. I have worked with some remarkable CGA board and committee members over the years and as a team we have enjoyed some great successes. I wish CGA all the best for their future."
