AGMCA seeking executive director

Feb. 6, 2015 – The Architectural Glass and Metal Contractors Association (AGMCA) is in search of an individual with demonstrated leadership and administrative skills who can work effectively with the association’s board of directors and various industry-related committees. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the collective bargaining process.

The AGMCA is a not-for-profit trade organization representing the interests of unionized glass and glazing contractors who work primarily in Ontario’s industrial, commercial and institutional building sector. AGMCA’s primary role is labour relations and training. The AGMCA is recognized by the Ministry of Labour as the Employer Bargaining Agency for all ICI unionized glass and metal contractors signatory to the IUPAT union. The association provides members with labour relations information and counselling with reference to the interpretation of collective agreements, as well, provides a wide range of benefits for the individual growth and advancement of their profession and industry.

The new executive director will take office in April, 2015. Applications may be directed in confidence to the address shown below, no later than March 1, 2015. Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted by March 15, 2015.
