Glazing contractors, glass fabricators, architects and specifiers will want to join Glass Canada’s Winter Webinar, Certified Quality: How contractor certification works in the architectural glass industry, on Jan. 24 at 2:00 pm. Registration for the interactive online session is free, and will feature Jeff Dabala of AMS Certification and Peter Neudorf Jr. of Ferguson Neudorf discussing the North American Contractor Certification program and how it applies to our industry. The webinar is presented free courtesy of Vitro.
The NACC offers third-party certification, allowing participating glazing contractors to verify their adherence to industry standards and best practices, and good business practices in general including financial stability. It and programs like it could be important tools as specifiers look for ways to ensure quality and project cost protection and contractors look for ways to differentiate themselves based on quality rather than cost.
The information session will take about an hour and attendees can submit questions via online chat. Registrants unable to attend live can download the presentation later.
